Itinerary (02 Night / 03 Days)
| Day 01 |
AM on arrival in Mumbai you are met and transferred to the hotel. PM embark on a City Tour visiting Hanging Gardens and the affluent community of Malabar Hills; Prince of Wales Museum, Crawford Bazaar, Dhobi Ghat, Mahatma Gandhi’s Memorial Museum, Victoria Terminus and drive along the Marine Drive, often called the Queen’s Necklace. Overnight at hotel. |
| Day 02 | AM take a ferry ride across the harbour at Gateway of India, Mumbai’s landmark, to visit the Island of Elephanta. Here, see the monolithic rock-cut cave temples belonging to 5th–8th century AD. These caves are famous for their sculptures dedicated to Lord Shiva and notable amongst them is “Trimurti” (Trinity), the three-headed relief depicting the Lord as Creator, Preserver and Destroyer. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at hotel. |
